On the crucial site it recommends either PC2100 or PC2700 DD-SDRAM... the board specs say it handles PC1600/PC2100. Can i use PC2700 and is it really worth the extra 20-30 bucks for 512MB at 2700 instead of 2100? Thanks in advance.

Jason

P.S. I dont plan to overclock if it requires extra cooling... or possible increase of wear and tear on the board.

The board is made to support DDR2100. But if you found DDR2700 and 2100 to be same price, then go ahead get the 2700(it will still work, but just kinda wasted) so you may later pull it out to put into newer system. And I don't think they have any different regarding heat.

Is there any way to actually utilize the memory by overclocking? This computer is only going to be used for office applications and light gaming... so slightly faster performance isnt crucial... what does everyone think?
