Need help disabling keyboard buttons

I like to use the arrow keys when playing WoW, but a lot of my macros require me to hold down shift to use them. The problem is that when I hold shift, my keyboard automatically activates their second key functions. For example, when I hold down shift and press "1" on the keypad, it activates "end" instead. How do I disable this useless and very annoying feature?

reassign your macros to CTRL instead of shift, or, start using wasd like the rest of us (because its better anyway) and put your macros on the right hand side of the keyboard, or along the bottom row of keys. or buy a g15 keyboard.
