Hey,

A german site has some early benchmarks of the new crysis patch. Brief but the best available as of today.

Nvidia 8 series benchmarks, click on the numbers (1,2,3) to see the different charts. Each page takes you to different charts so make sure to check them all out. Clicking on charts brings up enlarged ones.

Radeon benchmarks, For some reason this site has pictures of nicely rendered heads, nice but not really interesting here lol.

It's funny how new words (tech related mostly) such as benchmark, version, patch, hardware, etc is the only thing I understand :)

Crysis: Was bringt der Patch 1.1?
I can only guess is :
Crysis: What did patch 1.1 bring? (I hope I didn't slaughter that, because it seems so similar to french)

Looks like 1-2 fps increase.

No mate your bang on with the translation, except that its in the present tense. But putting it in the past for the english translation makes it sound better :) This is where german is dead easy, but it gets sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much harder lol.

It honestly seems to have brought sweet f.a. But theres no crossfire or sli numbers in there which is where all the action is, apparently.

yea.. downloaded the patch from filefront (which I never do..) and it failed, so gonna download it again tonight from somewhere else..

i also had a look at some german stuff, and it seemed to be implying to me (i'm not that great at german) that the patch brought performance gains, but only for vista (although germans are equally capable of producing FUD, and there were no solid benchies)

yeah it said that in the link i posted too. One of the charts shows like a 2fps difference or something. One big site will post a proper evaluation at some point. pcgameshardware.de does some rather odd benchies at times. They used catalyst 7.11 & the crysis hotfix for a start when 7.12 has been out a while.
