I just upgraded my ASUS MB and P-III 750 to a AOPEN AK77-8xn and an AMD 1900+. I also upgraded my Radeon 32MB to an Albatron GeForce 4 ti 4280P with 128MB. The only "downgrade" I did was went from 512 Pc133 to 256 PC2700 memory. But my computer is running much slower and my CPU usage is 100% all the time! If I have more than 1 window open on the desktop It takes forever for them to open and close. They literalyy deconstruct before me, one scan line at a time. I know something is wrong but I can't figure out what. I'm using XP professional.

I had a similar prob some time ago and got a fix on the Microsoft site. Can't remember the solution but do a search there under XP and you'll find it. If I get a chance I'll go back and see if I can dig it up again.
