KT333 CPU/RAM Bus Speeds

I am looking to get a KT-333 motherboard and an AMD XP 2100+ with a 266 FSB.

I'm wondering if I buy pc2700 ddr ram, can I run the ram at 333 mhz clock speed while the FSB is only 266 mhz? Or will the RAM run only at the same speed as the CPU FSB 266 mhz. Thanks for the help

KT333 can run DDR333 while at FSB266. It's called asynchronous clock operation and is very common.

It won't be a prob. I run an Athlon 1800Xp (FSB 266)on a Gigabyte 7VRXP with PC2700 Ram.
