Well it seems that Crytek is bussy at work on Crysis 2, :ouch: I wonder how this will run on a high-end system. :sol:

Haha! By High End, you mean:

Q8800 5ghz
8Gb DDR3 1333
4TB SATA III
2 x 9900 GTX 2GB Sli

Should get about 40 FPS with that setup

:P

N00B SYSTEM!! ;)

I hope they don't merely churn out a lousy money making sequel. I'd REALLY REALLY like to see some additional multiplayer content. Power struggle has the potential to be better, but right now it desperately needs more maps!!!

Minimum for this would be a dual core, 2GB DDR2 and 8800GTX or equivalent. That should be able to play med-high settings.

Seems like it, but it makes the water in the last SS look really nice.

I have a 4200+, 8800 GT, and 4 GB ram and I can run regular Crysis with a mix of med/high at about 27 FPS.... I hope my new Q6600, dual 8800GT can play that beast!

so fake, these are from the crysis level editor, not crysis 2

besides, dont you think crytek would want to make crysis 2 look better than crysis? not the same?

The braking waves are not in Crysis or its editor so it seems possible, even so they need to work on it.

Crysis continuation, part 2, Crysis 2, whatever you want to call it, will be published. They already have the engine, so it'll be cheap to make. Since they have already worked on the rendering in DX10 and SLI/CF issues, they are most likely to release the game with the same engine but with new maps (and textures) and hopefully more content for the multiplayer.

As for performance, it should be about the same as what Crysis currently requires.

Do you really think early screenshots are going to look top notch? Theres a lot more work invoved for improving and cleaning it up.

haha try
a Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 CPU
4gb of Motherboard suggested and supported RAM DDR2 800MHz
and also..to boot...a ATI HD 4850..and it runs JUST..JUSSSST..and everything graphic card wise is set to performance..not quality...crysis 2 will suck on that card...but thankfully i have a new card, the ATI HD RADEON 5750 Dx11 capable so tessellation will work with my GPU instead of on the CPU, so it should provide greater FPS and gameplay goodness

Spoiler :

CRYSIS WARHEAD SUCKED! that was the true sequel to Crysis as its a stand alone and plays off SGT. psykes, and its not any better
