I have been trying to find info on this but havn't had any luck. How do I check my fps in game for CoD4? The game runs really smooth on my new low budget rig but I would like to see some numbers.

I suggest Fraps. Pretty good program for getting screenshots and frame rates.

I was wondering if I would need a program. I was hoping for an ingame slash command or something simple. Thanks for the quick response, I'll check that out..

I did that and it is always there whenever I play. no need to retype it every time you start the game.

Might I add if you want to remove it change

/cg_drawfps 1
to
/cg_drawfps 0
