I just recently pulled my game The Movies out again and it installed just fine and the auto run menu even comes up when I put in the DVD-ROM, but when i click to play, it says please insert the DVD/CD to play.  Whats the deal?  I cant get past the autorun screen.

That has happened to some of my older games as well -like DX 2:IW. The autorun menu comes up but it won't work after that.
 
If someone has a solution please post.

being that you own the game and are not a digital thief, head over to gamecopyworld and search for a "no cd/dvd" crack. I've had to use that method a couple times with old games.
