Once Epic actually fixes the mutiplayer on PC it might be worth playing. As it is right now, the game is in pretty poor online shape. No compression redirect, no webadmin for servers, no anti-cheat.

its fun, but it feels like a step back from 2k4, its missing some of the great modes, domination, assault, bombing run. I never liked CTF that much, and I get enough DM from Quake3 at work, never really cared for Onslaught either, and Warfare doesn't really make it any different.

No one played Assault, Bombing Run, or Domination in 2k4. That's why they cut those mods. Warfare is ok, but not my thing. I still don't think consoles are up to this kind of game because of how much they have to slow down the gameplay to fit those controllers. This is also something that's meant to be played online. The single player game in UT3 is a joke, and more of a training module so that you can play the game online.

I bought it and I'm waiting for the sniper mods. UT99 sniper rocks, and hopefully UT3 sniping will too.

Yeah I bought UT3 too, and to be honest I still haven't made up my mind on it, I've played about 4 hours of it since i got it 3 months ago. Damn game keeps crashing in the middle of matches. I think UT2004 is my all time favorite game, spent 1000's of hours playing it. i'm a gnr and camping zark server addict. since i am so use to playing ut2004 i find game play in ut3 so frustrating, jumping and dodging seems slow.
