Im thinking of building new system ...
I decide to get

CPU : 2.8 (northwood)processor
Mobo: ?
Western digital 120GB (SE) 8mb buffer
sapphire 9700 pro..
etc...

any advice

Lots of good boards available now. The asus p4pe, gigabyte 8sg667, albatron px845 pev pro or pro-II, and the new asus p4g8x with dual dram support. I would get the 2.4b and run it at 2.8 with the asus or albatron board (they have an agp/pci lock, which the gigabyte board lacks). The dual dram board will run fine with the cheaper pc2100, which helps offset the higher board cost.
