Well I just started up service with Verizon with a 2 year contract and I
already had my first billing problem. I got charged $30.30 extra on my
purchase of two new LG VX4600 phones. My question is, are billing problems
common for Verizon and if so...are they usually pretty good about fixing
them right away?

Call them and find out, first hand.

Why not try calling *611 and let us know?
More than likely you will have a good experience.

Oh, it was resolved. I just wanted to know if this was typical of their
billing?

You're asking only the people that frequent this newsgroup. With 10s
of thousands of people subscribing to Verizon, do you really think
that any answers will be representative of the truth?

You could try to start a poll... Hard to measure the results though. This
group is probably not representative of VZWs customer base, people
who had problems will be way more motivated to reply than those who
didn't, etc.

I've had a couple of billing problems over the last 6 or so years.
Most were following added/deleted features or plan changes. All
were promptly resolved with a single phone call to CS. I'm sure
others have fared worse than I and still others better.

Unless you've got nothing better to do with your time, why not accept
what the polls have already shown? Verizon consistently gets good marks
on most satisfaction surveys.
