Does anyone know where I can find some Benchmarks on Crysis that involves the 8800 GTX, GT's and GTS's in both single and SLI mode?

I've had a look around and so far, I haven't found anything that's really of any use.

EDIT: In both DX10 and DX9 would be handy too, but mainly DX10.

Cheers

I ran some tests on my system. 8800GTS (G92) in SLI

I saw what the improvement you had when SLI. I have the same cards as you have (Evga 8800 GTS 512 (G92)) but the SLI happen to be slower than a single card. Any input?
My mobo is A8N32SLI-Deluxe so it's suppose to be 2 * PCI-E 16X slot...

I posted a reply in the other thread, but something else to try would be turning some of the physics down and see if the cards load up correctly then.

When you run SLI turn on the indicators and if the green bars are staying toward the middle you are CPU limited, if they expand to fill the screen then you are GPU limited.

Also it depends on what part of the game you are in. As you saw in the blog, CPU test #2 had lower frame rates than #1 because it placed a greater load on the CPU.

The only peeps I know that can run on very high at those resolutions are using dual 8800 ultras and Extreme Edition Quads at 4GHz.

Of course I reduced the physics down. I tried some test in 1900X1200
at med and high but I did not gain a much in SLI and sometime even SLI was below the FPS of a single card. I was expecting a better frame rate on any graphics detail. Here my real fps at 1900X1200 on a Dell 24'' LCD on Windows XP DX9.c:
Very-high setting CPU benchmark SLI = 22 fps
Very-high setting CPU benchmark NO-SLI = 16.2
Very-high setting GPU benchmark SLI = 20.2 fps
Very-high setting GPU benchmark NO-SLI = 17.8
High setting CPU benchmark SLI = 27.8 fps
High setting CPU benchmark NO-SLI = 24.8
High setting GPU benchmark SLI = 25.6 fps
High setting GPU benchmark NO-SLI = 26.6
Medium setting CPU benchmark SLI = 38 fps
Medium setting CPU benchmark NO-SLI = 40
Medium setting GPU benchmark SLI = 38.5 fps
Medium setting GPU benchmark NO-SLI = 41.2

I did not kept my result for lower resolution since I pay (700$+) for a DELL 24'' LCD which I intent to use at 1900X1200.

Now I am playing the game (I am at Awakning) with a graph detail between high and very-high (they call that very-high-on-the-Cheap) and maintain average fps between 21-23 in most case. My SLI bar are usually long which is interpreted as been GPU limited. Of course sometimes when I am inside a building or where there is lost of fire/people the game began to chooke but hey I use only 1 8800 GTS (512) card for that. I can not understand why by adding another 300$+ card I can not have at least 4-5 fps more. It's not rationale! What is the use of my second card??? Nvidia sales reports??? Come on I don't use my second card which I pay 300$+!!!

Thanks for your help by the way NTrepid8

Thought I would share... Interested in others too. I will see what SLI disabled will give me tomorrow.

I would say that your benchmark is more to do with your Q6600 then your SLI GTS.

Mine is done in 64 bit Vita which doesn't allow card linking.

There are plenty of benchmarks showing 9600GT or 8800GT or 8800GTS 512MB in SLI. Also some showing 8800U single, dual, and tri SLI. But no reviews that directly compare 8800GT, 8800GTS, and 8800GTX in SLI.

I see huge gains with SLI in crysis. GPU bench at 1680x1050 all high 2xaa/16xaf sees a 55% increase. But some GPU demanding levels like Paradise Lost, the scaling is even better. I posted single card vs Dual card sceen captures in this thread showing even over 80% SLI scaling. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] 8800-512mb

edit: Also have a bunch of single and SLI 8800GT crysis gpu benchies posted throughout this thread if interested.
