just what i said in the title... having played super mario galaxy, metroid prime 3, and twighlight princess' final bosses, and found them woefully inadequate (even compared to previous bosses in the same game), i started to feel annoyed, and so came here for a gripe :D

Have you given a try to No More Heroes? It certainly doesn't seem to be a God Hand or even perhaps a Ninja Gaiden, but it could be used in the same sentence with them.

NiGHTS' final boss wasn't easy; it was a bit confusing in fact.
