Not really sure where to post this but hopefully someone here will know the answer.

I have a gateway M505 laptop (I hate gateway now....terrible problems with them) and the right-arrow key is not working. The problem is that is the same key used to turn the brightness up. Is there another way to adjust the brightness? I have looked in display properties but have found nothing.

In most notebooks it is possible within the BIOS to set LCD brightness - good luck,

I'm pretty sure that if you go into the advanced settings of ur vid settings u'll find a brightness and contrast setting
