Hi,

Some 4-5 years back when I was a user on WinNT 4, I
remember we had installed a component (I think a network
component - which has to be installed manually)

with which we could install a local printer - connected to
the actual network printer.

By this I mean I would print documents to the local
printer (which I used to keep paused) and when all was
done, remove the pause.
The local printer would then spool all contents to the
network printer in the same order.

I vaguely remeber this was done by installing a network
service/ component begining with 'L' (like LMS). What is
the XP equivalent of the same and how to install it?

The purpose of this is - as the network printer is at
quite a distance from my seat it makes sense to spool all
documents and after making the local printer online go
collect the hard copies instead of they printing when I
cannot be there.

Any clues ?

thks
