The ATI and Nvidia games are nothing more than a marketing feature. ATI and Nvidia are not the ones making games...they just support games with drivers support. I haven't seen an ATI game since Call of Juarez...which I've only tried the demo.
Well said Alex, its just marketing and a coincidence that you like ATI branded games. Although, a little off topic, Call of Juarez is really good (loving concentration mode, matrix ftw!).
I'd say ... nVidia4life ... ha ha ha. Kidding. I haven't owned a single ATI video card before in my life, that's the truth though.
I remember seeing "nVidia - The way it's meant to be played" tagline in most of the games I owned. You mean ATI has a marketing tagline like nVidia too? Hmmm ... must look closer next time.
Ati pc games and nvidia pc games. Most nvidia pc games ive plauyed suck and most ati pc games ive played are good. Ati 4 life
Who's this? Thunderman's little brother?! LOL!

Well, they're not as noticeable as Nvidia's since they're never introduced as intro videos.
Mostly you'll only see the "ATI Radeon Graphics" logo or something like that on the disc or box.

I beg to differ, at least in some games they are i.e. in recent memory I know for a fact Black and white 2 had an ATI splash screen when it started up.

Well most ATI "branded" games are frome Valve. Anything HL2+ has been best played on ATI. But the funny thing is there are some that are branded for one company but plays better on the other. Valve games are the one exception.
db4s you are hilarious. I am sure that when the 9700Pro was whomping the GeForce 4 series you tried saying that. Same when the 9800XT blew away the GeForce 5 sries. In fact most of the time since the 9700Pro ATI has had the performance edge. But once the 8800 series hit that changed.

Ah ah, no longer true. Just recently, Valve decided to go over to nVidia. Valve quit promoting ATI and is now giving the same offer that they once gave ATI owners (A couple free games) to nVidia owners.
The world now officially hates ATI. That'll teach them to have awful Linux drivers.
