I am trying to do a clean of windows 7 64-bit on a windows vista 32-bit with a cd i bought.I tried the cd boot and its not working.

It's a DVD, not a CD, right?

Have you set your BIOS options to try booting from the DVD drive before the hard drives?

Have you watched carefully during the boot for the "Press any key to boot from DVD" message that the DVD shows when it boots?
