Does xbox 360 require a xbox 360 brand usb wifi to get wireless online gaming and internet? Or can I just use any other brand name usb wifi on xbox 360?
I'm willing to bet that no other Wi-Fi USB adapter will work in the Xbox 360 simply because Mr. Bill wants your money. I have a spare Wi-Fi USB adapter, but I never bothered to use it. After dealing with the PS3 wireless connection issues, I found that life is less aggravating by using ethernet.

To the best of my knowledge it has to be the official xbox one, due to hardware restrictions employed by the console. Sucks I know but that's just the way it is I'm afraid
Microsoft doesn't allow 3rd party hardware manufacturers to produce hardware for their console. Why do you think their add on products are so expensive, they don't have any competition.
