Hi! please could you help, I have Mc Afee firewall running on my xp system
and i want to add some trusted sites to it like banking and so on, but it
asks me to add the IP address of the sites, can you tell me how to find these
IP addresses as thay dont apear in the address bar, thanks in advance ferret.

Connect to the site you want to add, then:

Start | Run
In the "run" box, type:
cmd

in the command line interface, type:
ipconfig /all

It wants the IPs?!

Open a command promt and PING the name..

ie: ping www.microsoft.com yields:

Pinging microsoft.com [207.46.130.108]
