RAID 0 +Multiple Optical Drives

What is the best configuration for the following set up?

2 Hdd's in a RAID 0 (on board RAID).
DVD-ROM, CD-RW and DVD burner.

Can I use primary IDE for DVD-ROM/CD-RW as master/slave and secondary IDE for the DVD burner?

OK.
2 HDD's on separate RAID channels - onboard RAID (RAID 0).
DVD-ROM, CD-RW master/slave on primary IDE.
DVD burner master on secondary IDE.

That's the only way to go - Raid on separate channels, burners as primaries on their own channel.

Putting a burner on as a secondary is a sure fire route to more coasters and troublesome burning.
