I have been watching this game for a while and was very dissapointed that there isn't going to be a PC version.
My question is: Would the Wii version graphics and effects be so much lower than the 360 version that I wouldn't be able to enjoy it as much? PS3 is out of the question.... I don't really care about the Wii's nunchuck controller thingy as I would rather a normal controller. I heard that they would be leaving out some of the more advanced physics and euphorea in the Wii version.True? I'm currently leaning towards the 360 over the Wii just because it seems to have more games....
Yes, the graphics are a lot worse. I own a Wii, my friends have a 360, the wii is nothing compared to it. Even GH is a whole different game on the 2 systems. The Wii is good for like Zelda and Metroid and Smash, but the 360 dominates everything else.
Well, all i can say is i have both, and i must say 360 wins handsdown... all the wii has going is its "nunchuck" and after a day at work i wanna unwind not do a workout, and as mentioned before the graphic difference on the wii + 360 is massive.. so imo 360 all the way

I own all 3, and when talking about games in general, most Wii games look no better than Gamecube titles. I'd be very surprised if the Force Unleashed on the Wii had any of the physics features the 360 has, and the graphics will likely look a whole generation worse.
The Wii is only good for first party titles, otherwise I usually try and stay away from purchasing games on the system.

wii is good for brawl and that is essentially it. as mentioned, the stuff like wii play is pretty fun, but i recently bought a 360 and absolutely love it
Has anyone heard any news about a possible PC version?
No news, per se, but I expect at some point we'll see a PC version. For a long time last year, LucasArts was saying there were no plans for a Wii version, but that obviously changed. I think they'll release a port 6-8 months after the official launch. I have no evidence of this, it's just a hunch based on the developer's history and how the game is being developed.

We'll see what happens then. When I watched the vid on Tom's games about the differences between the different consoles but it didn't list the 360's differences. Is anything special going to be on the 360 version? I think the Wii's graphics will probably ruin it for me.

It's definitely coming out on the 360. In fact, that was the primary development platform. LucasArts demoed the game on the 360 during GDC. And since it was developed for the 360 initially, and it's no so hard to take a 360 to the PC (re: Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, DMC4, etc.), then I bet we'll probably see a PC version not too long after the console launch.
They also demoed the Wii version, and let's just say it's probably a good thing they didn't allow video or photography of the demo because the graphics were not flattering. Then again, the multiplayer lightsaber duel for the Wii looked pretty damn fun...

Yeah they did,but the graphics would probably turn me off. Do you have any idea if the Wii will have all the physics and euphorea? What's your prediction on that?
I already knew that but I just wanted to know what exclusive content the 360 will have over the other consoles
From what we were told at GDC, only the Wii will have exclusive content for current gen consoles. There may be something for the PS2 version and handheld games, but to be honest, I haven't really been paying attention to those platforms.

It sure looked like the Wii version had the Havok physics engine. As for the Digital Molecular Matter (particle effects for destructible content) and Euphoria (character animation), I'm not sure how mcuh either one could be utilized in a Wii game. The console may be able to use Euphoria's AI, but I can't see how the Wii's graphics limitations would be able to run the other stuff.

It would make business sense, imo, to not release news of a PC launch of the game until after the console release is out for a bit. There will no doubt be those who would prefer the game on PC, but get it for 360 ps3 etc. because of its absence on PC. Once the game is released on PC, I think its safe to say they will snag a percentage of the people who bought it for console, buying it over for the PC as i believe there is a fair amount of people who want to do that with mass effect. Or they could just be waiting to see what the console sales are like before a PC release.
hell, you'll be able to emulate it eventually.. the game looks great, promising, but i'm not holding my breathe. Jedi Knight is still one of the best (JKII, etc).
In other news.. Quake Wars just made it to the 360 lmao (is it out yet, or soon?)
