What kind of logic is that? Everything is directly attached to the mainboard. 
The last picture is the RSX and it's 256MBs of memory.

The topic is not about the hardware specs themselves, but the stock heatsinks placed in the consoles. Also, the RSX is a G71 at 550MHz with 8 ROPs disabled.
