I have somehow got a new searchbar added to my IE , i had a virus
detected by AVG and removed it and also ran spybot and trojanscan and
removed everything found. I thought trying to reinstall IE would help
but it just wont let me. I can hide the search bar but also get a tab
linking to some spyware removal tool. I really dont wanty this rubbish
on my sytem any ideas to help that arent too technical as i'm no techy
lol

I'm sure its not in add/remove programs,try going to run,type:regedit
In regedit,expand,HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,software,its probably there,R.
click on it,delete,close-out,expand,HKEY_CURRENT_USER,software,delete
it if there,then close-out.Be positive on what you delete in regedit.Also,R.
click C: drive,open,look in program files,delete.Go to run,type:%Temp%
In the new window,edit,select all,delete all,close-out,empty recycle bin.
