I want to get rid of my Quadro FX4800 that I only used for 3 days! I got it for christmas but never bothered with it because I don't do much stuff that needs such a graphics card, all I do is browse the internet and then just play solitare :P.

I am having it up for $900, but throw me offers, don't be shy :).

damn... $1600 new on newegg... my entire i7 build is only 1100 !

How does this card compare to any high end gaming card? On paper, the specs dont look that special. Is the cost in the specialized drivers?

driver and software support, afaik things have changed with most newer stuff where they allow you to use consumer cards, whereas in the old days most things would say only the expensive cards or no go. Now, the only difference is drivers, but there are ways around that (not sure if it's illegal, but if a company cares about safety then its not exactly needed)
