I have turned off my PF, but in task manager it still says that there is PF usage. Why?

"If youre paddling upstream in a canoe and a
wheel falls off, how many pancakes fit in a doghouse? None! Icecream doesn't have bones!!!"

memory is considered PF useage also.

i have 1 Gb of real mem, and 1.5 Gb of Virtual Mem, if my PF useage says 1.6 Gb it means that 1 Gb is in the real stuff, and about 0.6 Gb is in virtual.

turning off page files just makes virtual memory = 0. it is a pretty dumb idea to turn it off though.
