Well, the world was smooth sailin...the sky was blue and all was merry. Then the reboots started. Basically, on my Epox 8RDA+ it will go past post, give me about 10secs of XPProf startup screen and then reboot its self and continue in this loop. Booting into Safe Mode and playing with Nvidia VIDEO drivers seems to help the problem. Every time I get into safemode it says the "video driver was unable to complete the drawing operation" and the error occured in nv4_disp.dll. I have a GFTi500.

Any thoughts ideas? (I'm currently testing around with 1 and 2 stick memory combinations of DDR266 and DDR333 but im not mixing frequencies.)

CPU temp is 125F with retail HSF

Lo,

Try different preferably older nvidia drivers. Or try re-d/l them again. I had similar problems with my other system a while back... Seemed the downloads were corrupted on a couple of days; it was stated on their own site that u should re-d/l them and try again... :^\
