Just wanted to ask if anyone has some settings that I could go off of for a7n8x with xms pc3200C memory and a 9700 pro card?
Thanks!

I just started up a system with the A7N8X, XP 2700+, 9700 Pro, 512MB Corsair 3200 CL2.

I had to set the jumper and the bios for the processor to 166/333. The system wouldn't boot even though I had the jumper set for 166/333 until I removed the battery and changed the bios to the same. For some reason the bios was stuck on 200.

I have the memory running 400 MHz (6 2 2 2).

What settings are you interested in?

I have a problem right now with my sound. I don't have any. lol. I installed the drivers and have all the controls, just no sound.

Well like your memory timing I did not know so with that and anything else for the CPU and Memory setting would be great. Also, how close to the main die did you place your sensor?
Also any good web pages that has infor on overclocking this board with my 1800+ and the 9700 pro would be great!
Thanks

work unless i use the mic. jack.....

That's not a knife... THIS is a knife!

I haven't tried to overclock anything yet. I don't have an additional thermal sensor, just the onboard Asus sensor. I may do some experimenting. If so I will get back to you.

I would like to know just your basic setting for your system under the bios. I would love to know about some other links to overclocking the memory, motherboard and video card too.

The solution may be obvious, but I can't see it for the smoke coming off my processor.
