i was working on a file in 'my documents' and it switched to an audio type of
file, i was still in the file i wanted to be in but the file changed type.
also, all of a sudden if i click on a file i get the search screen. the file
drop down has changed. it used to list "open, explore, search' now it lists
'search, open, explore'. i got the audio file part fixed but cant figure how
to list open as the first choice under 'file'.

David's advice fixes this problem. What happens when you type the command in
Run dialog? Any errors? typo?
