I am selling this computer bescause I need the money bad, car repairs cost alot of money. I recently built this computer to be a gaming computer, but I ran out of money. The computer works wonderful and super fast. This is what I have put in it so far. I am including Windows Vista 64 bit Home Premium. I started to do some cable management but ran out of money.

Good luck that build costs under 1200 after rebates at the egg shipped. No offense, but used is used. Start by knocking 25-30% off then try and sell at that.

Take your asking price and add the rediculous shipping these days to ship it and your looking at the above price. Now tell me why someone would pay you for your used equipment when they can turn around and have backing from the egg and order for the same price?

Its a reality check nothing holds value once its open. Opened means used. Its like your car (if you purchased it new) As soon as you drove off the lot it lost $1,500-$2,500 in value.

No offense with all this or the following, but your going to play hell on hardware forums:
1.If you can't take criticism
2.If you try and regain the value you paid in hardware when you use it

If you have problems with the above ebay is your best bet, because you wont come up with more then about $800 on hardware forums things sell for more on ebay then hardware forums. Mainly because people are dumb or don't know about hardware forums. They see things are cheaper on ebay then retail so they purchase there. People on hardware forums are logical and know about depreciation and use.

To the OP defence, look at his add, it says free shipping, so a mute point to try to knock on is listing even further then you have.

While it is true that Micro has the I7's at $199 not everyone is located near one, and it is a in store pickup only Item.

So that puts his build right back up to almost $1200, by the time you pay shipping to the egg or another online store it is $1200. He is taking a $375 dollar loss already, this may not be the best deal on here, but he is not trying to overprice the hardware either. If I am not mistaken when you do the math, he has already knocked 25-30% off the price to build it new.

No offence to you, but seems you missed those points I brought up. I just get tired of some like Ibeet, who seem to knock and try to widdle down peoples prices, even when they are a very good deal sometimes. Gets very old.

You obviously can't read english. The eggs shipping is free. And More populated hardware forums are full of people who are more then happy to hit a microcenter near them to pick stuff up for people who aren't around one. So my statements above are still in rightful standing. I'm not trying to widdle his prices down. I could care less. I was simply pointing out that the price he originally was asking for wasn't much difference then new. Not to mention as stated There are thousands of etailers not to mention retailers all over the globe. I just used the egg as a base for pricing the items new. Many places are probably cheaper then the egg on some items due to sales. Take Zipzoomfly for instance.

I didn't see his post with a different price, so if it was around $1200 then yes your right that is to high. If he dropped it from $1100-1200 after you post, I am sorry, you was right on then.

Shipping from the egg is not always free, case's most of the time are not free to ship. I don't know about you but unless I know someone I wouldn't be having them pick up anything for me, and I am sure many feel the same.

And yes, I can read English very well :D

Yea his original asking price was aroung 1100 shipped I believe. Its a decent price now. Hardforums is a great hardware forum that has wonderful people. Its much more populated then this one. The guys over there have a ton of heat and are picking things up for people all the time. I have a Microcenter about 30-45 minutes from the house. Honestly I've never been, but if someone were to pay like $5 bucks in gas and shipping to them I would run and pick one up. It may give me an excuse to go I7 lol not to mention take a look at the store. I'm sure its just like Frys Electronics which happens to be about 8 minutes away. LOL

Yea I am about a little over a hour from Micro in Chicago. I will have to check out Hardforums, I have never heard of it, thanks. I don't have a frys around here, so I am stuck going to Chicago to a decent computer store. Worst buy sucks!, so Micro and the egg are my only choices it seems for main system hardware.

All good places. Many with weekly deals. Geeks has xbox360's for $150 for the premium and $200 for the elite all the time. Not to mention they have a variety of things like the egg does. Sign up for their newsletter and zipzoomfly awsome deals most times. If you ever need cd/dvd binders Geeks is the place when they run their clearance which is like once a month for $5.99 you can get 288 count binders firm sided ones not the flimsy crap you see alot of times. I go through binders like mad. :D
