Replace N. Bridge &/or S. Bridge?

can you buy a north bridge or south bridge say from SiS and put it into a new moterboard for better preformance? how hard would that be to do, if @ all possible?

Don't think so.

Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

If you're an elcrical-engeneer or such and have access to a four layer PC-board factory with a wide bulk parts inventory and good credit, you night... if you order 5000 of them.

yet, you'll have to design your own MOBO. would cost you much less to buy a new board and you would get the resulting product of a dozen or more engeneer's work.

I used to work for a mobo manufacturer... couldn't resist replying to this one!
