How do I tell my HP deskjet 3550 to print b&w and not colour ?

Download and install the drivers for an old B&W DeskJet like the 550. This
trick worked for one of my clients who did not want to waste the expensive color
cartridge ink... Ben Myers

Thanks, but you mean there is no software setting to tell the printer to
print b&w ?
