Looking for RAM

I'm looking to purchase DDR1 laptop memory (512mb and over) and/or DDR2 Desktop memory (512mb and over)

I think I have a few sticks of PC2700 around, I'm not sure if they are 256 or 512 though. I'll get back to you once I find them ^_^

Edit: So I only have one 512 stick and then two 256 sticks. I have no idea if they work and no way to test them either :/

I have two 512 sticks i pulled from my toshiba satellite l45. ddr2 pc2 5300. I think thats what it was . Lol lemme know.

Is that laptop ram or desktop ram? I'm looking for only ddr1s for laptops and ddr2s for desktop.

Nope, just checked and all I have is DDR2 laptop memory...sorry.

thesmith, is that RAM 800MHz or 667? I'm not sure the 800mhz will downclock far enuff for an old comp. Anyone have any kingston 667s?

you can underclock em if you can tweak ur motherboard settings

normally yes, but my friend has a Dell motherboard (unfortunately) which sometimes won't even boot if you go above its range of RAM specifications. =(
