Forgot adminatrator's password

my mother forgot her paaswrod and it's the adminatrator's
password. HOw care we find out the password or change it?
Do we need to hier an IT person?

End users should create two administrator accounts, just
in case circumstances like this occur. Try creating a new
administrator account, then try deleting the old account
you can not log into. Then make a new account.
