somebody in another thread pointed out that newegg has the HIS 1gb 4670 for $59.99. it's 74.99 and it has a $15 off coupon code w\ the listing. shipping came up free.... I was going to buy one out of compulsion but stopped myself!
great card for lots of systems though, it doesn't require dedicated power.
Damn a gig thats awesome. i just saw it and it has an HDMI port too. you can build an awesome comp that runs new games for under 350. when these parts go so cheap you wanna build a few rigs for no reason

whats the performance difference between the gigabyte p31 and the gigabyte p45? I was looking to buy the p45 on new egg for my new build, but might be interested in taking advantage of this deal.
The gigabyte board is no longer available. it only has 2 ram slots and takes ddr2-1066. I have 2 2gb sticks of ddr2-800 running @ 900 and the 6750 @ 3ghz.
Bluescreen : I didn't notice until last week that DDR2 prices have skyrocketed !!! I can't believe I sold all that ram for $30 !!!! I can't find a 4gb 6400 set for under $50-55 now !!!

I know right, and it pisses me off. I still need a 4Gb kit and they're sky high for some reason! The exact same Gskill 4Gb kit I bought last month for $45 is now $70. WTF?
This probably belongs in the craigslist deals thread but seemed salient here... I found a guy on CL who sold me 17.5 GB of DDR2 for $100 about two months ago. sounds like it was a steal now... OCZ gold, crucial ballistix, A-data, each PC6400 2GB kits. the rest were more basic 667 and 800 1GB and 2GB sticks.

lol yeh. thxs
I remember Newegg having 4GB of XMS2 Corsair RAM for $40, but now the prices have skyrocketed. I hope it doesn't end up getting more expensive as time passes like some old antique desk... >_<
And why the hell has DDR2 prices doubled?
My bros comp only has 2GB, so I was going to put it to 4GB... but now it's damned expensive... I remember seeing some 4GB sets on newegg for $35...

how about $50 shipped? Will include the ps2 system + component cable + 1 controller + swap magic discs (cd and dvd) and i'll throw in a couple cd r games if they're in the same box as the ps2.
