1. Which has better integrated graphics performance the ViaProsavageDDR (S3 ProSavage8) or the nVidia ( Nvidia Nforce GeFORCE2 Video ).

2. Which has better overall performance (keep in mind that this is the 64-bit memory version)

3. Which is more stable?

Hands down, the Nforce (geforce2 mx400 integrated) will absolutely RAPE the S3 graphics. It won't even be close. As for stability, I can't speak for everyone, but i've had luck using the Via and Nvidia chipset, but I think i'd lean a little more towards the Nforce220.

Instead of Rdram, why not just merge 4 Sdram channels...

After searching for a good integrated board, I just ordered the ASUS A7N266-VM (nForce 220) for a simple system I will build next week. For $73 it seems to be the best thing going for a low cost all in one board, with many positive comments from buyers at newegg. Try to remmeber to let you know how it works out.

keep in mind, that's a micro ATX board, the regular ATX boards use the Nforce420 (and 420d for sound).

Yep, good to point out that it's micro ATX, but with integrated LAN, Dolby digital 5.1 sound (optical output!) and TV-out, I will only add a modem card and have two PCI slots left open...for the low cost market, I rather pay less since I doubt that I'll need 2 more PCI slots.

I'm using a nForce 420-D mobo as a nForce 220-D mobo. It rocks. Except you plan to run Win98, you will be fine. It has no problem with WinME, Win2000 and WinXP
