Kotor

As a fan of KotOR and KotOR II does anyone know if there is a 3rd in the pipeline?

Given that KotOR II was screwed up to satisfy publisher deadlines, I don't think many people will be interested in another (most likely similarly screwed up) sequel.

If there is a KOTOR 3 from bioware, i would bet it won't come out in the next couple years. Their last big game, Mass Effect, came out on 360 last holiday season. The PC version of mass effect is coming out pretty soon. (it might be out already, I have no idea.) But i would imagine that if they are working on a KOTOR 3, it is still in the early stages. *I could be wrong, and this is complete speculation

As you may or may not know, KOTOR 2 was a rushed game. KOTOR 2 was supposed to have 3 acts in it's story, however due to Lucas Art's decision to ship the game for the X-mas holiday season, act 3 of the game was dumped which is why so many people thought the game's storyline was rather choppy and inconsistent.

Act 3 was already in production when the decision to cut the project short was made. Obsidian decided to release the PC version of the game with the unused content. People banded together a few years ago to try to "recreate" act 3 of KOTOR 2. I believe the project had a couple of names, but it has finally settled on:

Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords - Restoration Project

It' current build version is 1.0b4 with only 19 known minor issues that still exists. I haven't played it yet as I am kinda busy doing other things, but I definitely intend to do so.
