More Information

Just bought a new m/c with a gigabyte GA-7VKMLS with integrated LAN.
I cannot get it to network properly with Win98SE.
Works OK if I give it a specific IP address.

But if I ask for auto IP address, cannot ping out, but can ping in. Can FIND the m/c from another Win98 machine. But not see it on other network neighbourhood.
I've got latest driver from Gigabyte 4-10-02.

Anyone know anything about how to fix this. (I doubt my retailer has any clue in this!). Or have I got a genuine hardware problem ?
