I recently got myself a Samsung 2232BW monitor due to my Dell 197FP getting broken by a house pet.

I decided I would finally get around to using my VGA adaptor and hooking up my 360 to my new widescreen. However I've been having difficulties deciding what resolution and other settings I should use to get the most out of my monitor. It's native resolution is 1680x1050 if thats of any help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I run my 360 on my 20 inch Samsung LCD with the same res, and I found that 1280x768 is the best 2 use since it is the closest 2 the 16:10 aspect ratio. Hpe this helps.

Thats what I'm running at the moment, I suppose I might be expecting a little too much.

I've heard a few things about a HDMI to DVI converter that would run at the native resolution. Is this correct? If so is it worth the purchase?

I doubt that would work. The 360 has a set amount of different resolutions that it can run, and I am pretty sure that what we see when we use our VGA cable is pretty much all that is available. I wouldnt waste my money on it personally.

I have a 22" KDS I have the 360 hooked up with the VGA microsoft cable. When I go into console settings I can only choose 1360x768(which I run) or 1920x1080. The max res I can run this monitor is 1680x1050 which I wish I knew how to run it at that with the 360. I have no idea how. Help appreciated.
