I just bought the Gigabyte 7VAXP Ultra MB and when I try to get to the BIOS, all that comes up is a blank screen with a blue bar across the bottom, a blinking cursor on the upper left corner, and the kb locks. Otherwise, the system boots fine. It runs through its POST and will boot off a floppy.
I even flashed it to the latest version (F2) and still n/g. Has anyone seen or experienced this? I emailed Gigabyte support, but the last time I had a problem with another board, they never responded.
I had some seriously bad experiences with that board. I rma'd it twice.
Post all of your components. Out of three boards, I couldn't get it to work with a GF4 Ti4200, at all. Or a GF2 Ultra. I managed to get a GF2 GTS working, halfway, with the third board.
