Choices ... Choices:
I set up a Gigabyte GA-8PE667 Ultra with ease. Simply add Video Card, exaust fan over the PCI slot and optional 56K modem. A dream to install... lots of USB 2.0 slots makes you wonder why so many PCI slots. Now I learn the PE chip will support hyperthreading if I ever cough up that kind of $$.
Of course, the later ... greater is supposed to be the Gigabyte 8SG667. Lots of faster possibilities especially in the memory arena.
Question: Compared to the Gigabyte GA-8PE667 Ultra, What do you need for the Gigabyte 8SG667 install to have the same features?
Video Card
Network card
optional 56k modem
and ????

Serial ATA is of no value to me. I do enjoy the USB 2.0.

I picked up some PC2700 memory with Samsung ending TCB3 and Infineon ending -6 chips. I'm not likely to upgrade to DDR400.
I run a P4 2.4 533 at 2.7 currently.

Every working computer must be improved .... or replaced ...

8SG667 doesn't support HT either, so no need to answer the question!
