Hi all, i'm looking to build my first computer from the ground up! I plan to use it mainly for semi-professional audio applications. I'm seriously looking at the ECS P4VXASD2, which runs around $90cdn. Does anyone have experience with this board? I'm mainly looking for pros and cons associated with this mobo. Any help is appreciated.

NEVER buy this ECS + VIA combination.

ECS is well known crap manufacturer and VIA's P4 chipsets are horribly bad. They are illegal, too. They don't have a license to make P4 chipsets

Sadly that's the truth, otherwise P4X chipsets would have been a real P4 chipset killer!

The other option you could go for is Asus P4PE or Abit IT7-Max2 2.0.
