transfering files

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.newusers (More info?)

I just installed XP Pro onto a new harddrive. I have my
old drive with Win98 on it that I can still boot from.
That drive shows up in XP in the computer management
window but it does not have a drive letter assigned to
it. It is nowhere to be found in My Computer. I would
like to get some files off of it. Any suggestions.
