I would like to upgrade my current mobo with the new a7v333, with pc2700ddr ram. I don't however, wanna buy a new processor, too expensive at the moment, and im wondering if my 1.1ghz T bird will work with that.

That's a 200 MHz. FSB chip, right? That will work fine in the board, but it won't really be able to take advantage of the speed the board has to offer. (Unless of course you unlock it allowing you to up the FSB).

What I'm not sure about is what the board would allow you to run your memory at if you had the FSB at 200 MHz. I think it probably wouldn't allow you to set the memory to PC2700 and instead force you to run it at PC1600 speed.

T-Bird should work fine. But I must say the CPU will be massively underpowered for what the motherboard is cabable of. But it should work fine wnough.
