Recently installed SP2, not sure if this problem started before of after,
but IE just shuts down after a minute or two of surfing.  I used to get this
message:
<   iexplore.exe
The instruction at "0x024397a0" referenced memory at "0x024397a0". The
memory could not be "read".   >

I havent seen that message for a couple days, but I do see another one:

<   runtime error
prog:   c:\progra~1\common~1\tsa\ts.exe   >

I dont always see this runtime error, usually IE just closes and thats that.
I thought I could uninstall/reinstall IE, but I cant find it in Add/Remove
programs.
However, I DID find 4 versions of JAVA 2 Runtime Environ SE:
*v1.3.1, * v1.3.1_02,* v1.4.1_02 and * _05 .
Do I need all of this JAVA stuff?
IE has become just about useless, any help would be appreciated. Non-geek,
plain english, please.
TIA,
v
