I'm trying to upgrade an old Gateway and need to know how big a proc and what kind of RAM I can put in. I know it's an Intel and on the PCB is printed E139761 but I can't find anything on it. It currently runs a Slot 1 Pentium Pro 266 and the machine was put together early '98. Does anyone know what I can put in here or where I can find out?

Look in System Properties>Device Manager>System Devices and it will tell you what chipset you have (LX, BX, etc).
