I have a HP Pavillion Elite M9060n Desktop and I have been able to get every game to install and run with no problems. I tried to install C&C 3 and I get to compying files and then the DVD light stops blinking and the HDD light also stops. After about 10 to 15 minutes it times out. Is it because I have a Blu-ray drive? Any help please.
I went to HP forum no help and EA is very hard to get help.

Here are my specs:
Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel ViivTM Processor Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600
3072MB memory
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT graphics card
Blu-ray/HD DVD player & SuperMulti DVD burner with LightScribe Technology

I've had problems with a Lightscribe drive in the past, not reading correctly. Got another drive you can try the DVD on?

No, I do not have an extra drive. I guess I will have to buy one. This is the only game that will not load, actually only program.

Could you not borrow one from a friend?

If not, DVD drives are pretty cheap these days.
