hi i just got a new pc :
-e8400 @ 3.6
-asus p5k-e wiki/ap
-2gig crucial ballistix tracer @ 1066
-9800 gtx
 
so i set up everything and installed xp pro. everything went fine, went online and installed latest drivers from nvidia and asus site. i went on and installed crysis, tomb raider and assassins creed the thing is when i play any of these games i get crapy sound quality it also crackles all the time and im quite sure it makes my games play slower. when i use wmp everything works perfect. ive tried installing latest sound drivers which doesnt help..
please help i dont know what else to do
