I've been looking for an inexpensive 23-24" LCD. Saw this and picked it up instead. It's a cheap-o TN panel that's probably best for gaming, but it made the list in Ars' October system guide as an alternate to it's more expensive sibling that is the exact same panel, but includes a webcam. One of the minor but nice selling points for this monitor is that it does 1920x1200 instead of 1080. Won't matter to most folks but I like it because it allows you to place your media player controls outside video borders.
Another decent deal is this 24.6" Hanns-G LCD for $189 w/ free shipping. I'm wary of the Hanns-G stuff because it seems like there's an usually high amount of complaints about their LCDs after a year of use. That said, it seems like over 90% of people who make comments are happy so odds are slim for getting a lemon.
I also checked Mwave, Zipzoomfly, Directron, Tiger Direct and a few other places before buying, looks like there's lots of solid deals flying around at the moment. If you're shopping for an LCD before the holidays, might be a good time to look around. If you need help in deciding what you need, here's a couple links to sites (anyone got any other good monitor review sites?). Use google translate or similar if need be for prad.de.
