is there any market for used hard drives of an old 4+ year old pc, an hp
pavilion 6730?

The Pavilion 6730 system appears to have been delivered with a 10GB drive. With
much larger capacity drives selling for cheap, the top you could get for a used
10GB drive which passes all manufacturer diagnostics would be $20. Figure $10
for the CD-ROM drive... Ben Myers
