I'm about to buy 2 new computers:
one will be a XP2100+ boxed (including CPU fan) with a Radeon 9500 PRO, 512 MB RAM and an old harddrive and the Intel computer will be a 2,4 Ghz with Radeon 9700 PRO, 512 MB RAM and a new 120GB UDMA133 harddrive or something like that..

I really have a hard time picking the right motherboards for my computers! Please help as I am a total idiot in this area :p

For the AMD I'm am thinking of a NForce 2 board with 2 256 MB PC3200/PC2700 sticks. I must have 6x AGP support for the Radeon 9500 Pro and it must have support for my old harddrive! Will the Abit NF7-S nForce2 fit my needs?

And the Intel computer! :) Should I go for Gigabyte GA-SG667 SIS648 or buy one with the i845x chipset?

also, should I buy PC3200 CAS2.5 or PC2700 CAS2 ?
I will have 1 512 for the Intel and 2 256 for the AMD..

Pardon me for my bad english =P Please help =)

You seem to be doing well with the motherboard. Get the abit NF7, It will support your old drive as well as new Serial ATA drives when they arrive. I may be off but I think PC2700 cas 2 would be better. (good chance the 3200 is the same stuff and thats why the Latency is higher).

Thats it. Can't help you with intel. (AMD! is my fav right now.)
